Extend the life of your Kanger ProTank-3, Mini ProTank-3, AeroTank, AeroTank Mini, AeroTank Mega or AeroTank Giant by replacing only the coil! These dual coils will also fit Kanger's T3D, EVOD-2, EVOD Glass, AeroTank MOW, AeroTank V2, and GeniTank Glass/Mini/Mega/Giant Clearomizers. These coils will NOT work with the original ProTank or ProTank-2 series of clearomizers.

Different from Kanger's previous Dual Coil Heads, these NEW Upgraded Dual Coil Heads have been redesigned so that the wick is now enclosed within the coil! This makes the coil more hygienic.

t's easy to replace the coil: just unscrew the bottom assembly from the tube, remove the old coil and simply screw a new coil assembly into base. Fill with E-Juice by tilting the ProTank at a slight angle and dripping juice down the inside wall against the outer wall of Glass Tank. Do not put eliquid into the center tube as it will leak out the bottom of clearomizer.

If using a new coil, set aside for a few minutes to allow the e-liquid to fully saturate your coil. Then screw onto your device and you're ready to vape.

Please note that Kanger is transitioning into using NiChrome (NiCr) wire for these coils. The new packaging may look different and denote the use of NiCr wire.

Recommended voltage for different resistance coil head: (4-8 watt range)

1.2ohm: 3.00V - 3.3V (these are HOT on a standard eGo, best on a Twist/Spinner turned down)
1.5ohm: 3.50V - 3.70V
1.8ohm: 3.60V - 4.00V

Protank-3 coil heads are NOT interchangeable with anything else, except the AeroTank. Please be aware!

Protank Tips:

The metal tube in the center of this Clearomizer leads from the mouthpiece to the battery end. Avoid getting liquid in this tube when filling the Clearomizer.
When unfastening the base (atomizer head) to refill the Clearomizer, the seals are temporarily broken and liquid will leak from the mouthpiece or escape into the center tube. Always wrap a cloth or piece of tissue around the mouthpiece when unfastening the base of the Clearomizer.
Gurgling noise or leaks: This is a sign that liquid has found its way into the metal tube in the center of the Clearomizer (and usually occurs after a refill). Ridding the center tube of liquid will resolve the issue. To do so without emptying the tank, remove the Clearomizer from the battery, wrap a cloth or tissue around the battery end of the Clearomizer and blow through the mouthpiece.
The atomizer head of the Protank can unfasten when unscrewing the tube or base. Always secure the atomizer head before reinstalling the base of the Protank.
It is normal to find a small amount of liquid in the battery contact area when removing the Clearomizer or any atomizer. We recommend cleaning the battery before charging it.
When possible, keep the tank full and never below 1/3 full of eLiquid ("topped off"). This helps maintain the "vacuum" in the tank and prevent leaks.
Atomizer heads have an average lifespan between 10 to 20 days. When the atomizer head wears down, it may begin to leak. Replace the atomizer head with a new one if available.

Inconsistent quality

My most recent order was for 15 of these, and every one of them has either been too dry or flooded. Some have wicks sticking out, some don't. Regardless of how inexpensive they are, it is ridiculous to have to go through 3 boxes of these while rarely getting a good vape. Also, it was the same e-juice the whole time.

dual coil head

These lasts only 2 to 3 days max. The ones I got from Smok tech before they "upgraded" lasted for weeks. I am going through them almost daily. Something is wrong with this design and I would rather have the ones I ordered before the upgrade

Not thrilled

I know this is supposed to be an upgrade, however, I find that it doesn't screw into place smoothly. My iStick says "no atomizer" unless I can get it screwed on just right. I don't like this "upgrade."

"AWESOME" "PERFECTION"

I am a chain vapor and my coils last any where fro 10 to 20 days. My daughter is a medium vapor and hers last 30 plus days. My is a light user and so far he is at two months and counting. Ten stars! Hands down! Go Kanger! Thank you Smoketec for having the coils in stock!

Worth getting the brand name

Bought 1.2, 1.5 and 1.8's to test out; 1.5's are definitely best for my needs. Super easy to install/replace, work great right away unlike most carts I use in other tanks. Bit pricey but worth it compared to cheapo Chinese ones I tried (which ALL burned and tested 2.8 or higher even tho spec'd at 2.0 or lower).

I'm glad to help here! $2.59 is the price for one Upgraded Replacement Dual Coil Head for the Kanger ProTank-3 and AeroTank; however, there are quantity discounts. When you buy between 5-14, the price per coil drops to $2.33; when you buy between 15-29, the price per coil drops to $2.28; and when you buy 30 or more, the price per coil drops to $2.20.
